Samsung has eliminated previous version problems, in my opinion the picture quality is awesome. Also the price tag is not to high when compared with the overall performance of the TV.

Stunner- it is the most captivating TV I\’ve seen so far – I\’ve already booked one. Samsung LED DLP TV uses the DLP projection type of imaging, there is no picture tube, and no phosphor, so there is no chance of burn-in. That sounds really good.

Based on all I\’ve read from your posts and articles, I was thinking that a newer Plasma with better brightness and an anti-glare coating would be our best bet. Do you agree? If so, which brand/model would you recommend? I\’m willing to spend a little more for a better TV if I will notice a difference in picture quality.

LED TV-people often mistake the concept – The LED Back light TV is LCD TV equipped with a latest technology of lighting dont mix it up with other HD, Plasma or LCD TV versions. This is beautiful technology & in my opinion the future of TV’s.

There is no other brand which offers this fabulous technology this cheap, these TV’s combine phenomenal picture with an amazing sound quality. Access to the internet is also good a great feature.

Do not buy this TV.

The only cool thing about this is that it’s ultra slim. With my big hands, I cannot reach the USB ports and have to take the unit off the wall to connect external devices.

The sound is less than average. the side lit LED just do not come close to the quality of the Sharp LEDs and, to make matters worse, my video blew in <4 weeks. Dealing with Samsung warranty was a nightmare and I had to pay to ship it in even though they claim to have pick up service.

Never again will I buy a Samsung product

It’s wrong to assume LEDs belong in a completely separate category beside LCD and plasma TVs, but in reality, an LED television is just a type of LCD TV but with higher picture clarity, that being said the samsung range of LED tvs are outstanding performers.

For LCD-TVs, panel suppliers are offering products with 120Hz frame rates with edge-lit LED backlights to achieve thinner form factors, lower power consumption and mercury-free “green” attributes. In some cases, power savings with the use of LED backlights can be as high as 30 percent to 50 percent. Thickness and weight savings also can be as high as 30 percent to 50 percent.

LED Technology seems to be a very promising one as I’ve read with Samsung LED TV, the power consumption can be reduced to less than half of the actual power required for normal HDTVs.
